MAGDALENO "MALENO" CARRIZALES
Magdaleno "Maleno" Carrizales was born on August 18, 1944, in Raymondville, Texas. He was surrounded by many family and friends at the end of his journey. He will be dearly missed.
He lived in Laredo, Texas since his teens and worked at getting his Master Plumbing License. He became a Master plumber in the 1970's till the time of his passing. Maleno was known for being the Owner of Carrizales Plumbing for about 3 decades. He was also a very active cursillista. He made his cursillo in 1984 and since then traveled to many places and meet many people and touched touched many lives in the Cursillo Movement.
Maleno is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Octavio Carrizales and Mrs. Juana Salinas.
Brother, Pablo (Gloria) Carrizales.
Aunt, Julia C. Mendoza.
He is survived by his children, Guadalupe (Blanca) Rodriguez, Mary (Steve) Misner and Monica (Gilberto) Munoz,
Siblings, Herminio (Mari) Carrizales, and Martina (Alfredo) Vasquez.
2 great grandchildren.
Also surviving him are numerous grandchildren, many nephews, nieces, loved ones and many friends.
The family would like extend a special thank you to Dr. Benson Huang and Staff, LMC ICU Nurses and Staff, Methodist Special Hospital, Complete Care Home Health, for taking care of him on his journey home.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2020 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased, led by the Cursillo Movement, will be held at 7 p.m. at the San Francisco Javier Centro de Cursillo, located at 2502 Zaragoza St. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel, 800 Boston St., at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WILL BE: Gilberto Munoz, Raul Reyes Jr., Guadalupe Rodriguez, Pablo Carrizales Jr., Abraham Vasquez, Mario De Jesus Molina, David Rodriguez, Juan Martinez and David Gutierrez.
