MANUEL BARRERA

Mr. Manuel Barrera, 96, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024.

Mr. Barrera was born in Ciudad Mier, Tamaulipas, Mexico, and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is survived by his loving children, Alma (Vicente) Gonzalez, Edith (Fernado) Treviño, Manuel Alberto (Manuela) Barrera and Hugo (Rocio) Barrera.

12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Also surviving him are numerous relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, September 20, 2024 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS: Fernando Treviño, Vicente Gonzalez, Manuel Barrera, Alexis Barrera, Raul Pescador, Sergio Ramirez, Daniel Robles and Cesar Flores.
