MANUEL BARRON Manuel Barron, 66, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013 at a local hospital. Mr. Barron was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose C. and Eloisa Barron. Brothers, Antonio Barron and Ruben Barron. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria E. Barron. Siblings, Jose (Hilda) Barron, Maria Elena (Jesus Enrique, dec'd) De Leon, Jesus Barron, Juanita (Juan) Gonzalez, Eligio (Angie) Barron, Maricela (Jose Luis) Leyva, Roberto (Araceli) Barron, Patricia (Rick) Perez, Alfredo (San Juanita) Barron and Leticia (Alberto) Chapa. Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez ands Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8 am on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
