MANUEL CHAPA JR.

Manuel Chapa Jr., 86, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

Mr. Chapa was born in Laredo, Texas and was a long life resident of Mission, Texas.

He is preceded in death by parents, Manuel F. and Marianela Chapa Sr.
Son, Manuel Chapa III.
Brothers, Carlos V. Chapa and Agapito V. Chapa.
Mother of his children, Diana Herminia Chapa.

He is survived by his daughter, Diana Alexander Chapa.
Brother, Damasio (Esperanza) V. Chapa.
Sister, Marianela (Tomas†) Ramirez.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased, officiated by Rev. Deacon Roger Martinez, will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
