MANUEL VALDEZ MARTINEZ

Manuel Valdez Martinez, 77, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021.

Mr. Martinez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Valdez Fernandez and Ninfa Martinez Vela.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 18 years of marriage,  Patricia Valdez.

Children, Emanuel Valdez, Genaro (Beatriz) Valdez Garcia, Olvido (Ricardo) De Alva, Juanita (Mario) Jimenez, Rafael (Maria) Valdez and Manuel (Sylvia) Valdez III.

Brothers, Zeferino (Guadalupe) Valdez and Genaro Valdez.

Sisters, Rosa Margarita Gonzalez, Ninfa Valdez and Diana Laura Valdez.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Following the State Law, visitation will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.

It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 6 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. A chapel service will be officiated in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
