Manuel Serna's Obituary
MANUEL ATANACIO "EL COMPA" SERNA
Manuel Atanacio "El Compa" Serna, 62, passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016 at a local hospital.
Mr. Serna was born in Villa de Reyes, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his sisters, Juana Serna and Rosa Serna.
Father, Jesus Serna.
He is survived by his wife, Maria C. Serna.
Daughters, Raquel Serna and Jose Gamboa and Nora (Edward) Villarreal.
Son, William (Delia) Turgeon.
15 grandchildren.
2 great-grandchildren.
Sisters, Lucia Duran, Esther Serna, Irene Serna and Teofilo Serna.
Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will be held on a later date.
