Obituary

MANUEL ALMEIDA SR.
Manuel Almeida Sr., 61, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021.
Mr. Almeida was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Enedelia Almeida Jr.
Sister, Concepcion Almeida Valverde.
Brother-in-Law, Jose Salas.
Paternal grandparents, Francisco and Ascencion Almeida.
Maternal grandparents, Lucio and Magdalena Yguerabide.
He is survived by his children, Manuel (Graciela) Almeida Jr., Juan Jose Almeida and Enedelia G. Almeida (Steve Anthony Frazier).
11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Mother of his children, Dora Alicia Almeida.
Sisters, Norma Almeida Salas, Adriana A. Lewis (Eberto Arias), Imelda Yvette (George) Treviño, Diana A. Almeida (Roland Tamez), Leticia Almeida, Marivel Almeida Hernandez and Nicki Almeida.
Brothers: Francisco (Anabel) Almeida III, Severo (Rosie) Almeida.
Also surviving are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased, officiated by Rev. Deacon Jerry Morales, will be held at 7:15 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Committal services will be held on a later date.
