MANUELA B. GOMEZ
Manuela B. Gomez, 67, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Gomez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Trinidad C. Barajas.
Sister, Maria Esparza.
Brothers, Juan Carasco and Ignacio Barajas Jr.
Parents-in-Law, Antonio Gomez and Maria Guadalupe Gomez.
She is survived by her husband, of 43 years of marriage, Paulino Gomez.
Children, Paulino (Beth) Gomez Jr., Angelica Gomez, Pamela Gomez, Marisela (Emilio) Gonzalez, Jose Ignacio Gomez and Juan Manuel Gomez.
Grandchildren, Shanti N. Gonzalez, Emilio D. Gonzalez, Manuel M. Gonzalez, Ethan P. Gomez, Daniel A. Gomez, Caleb Z. Gomez, Bradley A. Gomez and Addisyn B. Gomez.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:05 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.
