MANUELA "Manuelita" SANCHEZ Manuela "Manuelita" Vega-Sanchez kind and generous, beloved by many left the earth on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 for her well earned place in heaven. Manuela was born on November 27, 1917. Manuela was a beloved mother, wife, and grandmother. She was a long time member of Mother Cabrini Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Santiago Sanchez Rodriguez, her son Santiago Fares Sanchez Jr., her mother Higinia Camacho vda. de Vega, her sister Josefina Vega and her brother Francisco Vega also other brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children and their spouses. Jose A. Sanchez, Arturo (Dora) Sanchez, Elva (Dale) Christiansen, Martha (William) Metzger, Gloria Sanchez Webber, Adriana (Sal) Liberto. She also left many grandchildren. Joe, Raul, Jimmy, Rick, Renee, Josey, Laura, Chris, Michael, Jessica, Sara, Brian, Bill Jr., Deanna, James Jr., Kelly Jo, Monica, Amy, Gloria Marie and Anthony. Also Great grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren. The family would like to extend and special thanks to all who cared for her and loved her. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapel, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin on Saturday morning, January 3, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
