MARCELINO RAMOS Marcelino Ramos, 81, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at a local hospital. Mr. Ramos was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. He was preceded in death by her parents, Bernandino and Amalia Ramos. Daughter, Elsa Ramos. Sister, Vicenta Mendez. He is survived by his wife, Minerva J. Ramos. Daughters, Elma (Armando) Garcia, Elizabeth Ramos, Esther Ramos, Elda Ramos and Yvette Moreno. Loved as her sons, Juan (Annabelle) Ramos Jr. and Salah A. Awad. 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. 4 brothers, Guadalupe (Guadalupe) Ramos, Jose Angel (Sabina) Ramos, Ramiro (Delia) Ramos and Juan (Ophelia) Ramos. Also nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and many friends. The Ramos Family would like to thank Dr. Ricardo Cigarroa and also nurses and staff of Doctors Hospital in the 3rd Floor. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:05 on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
