Obituary

MARCOS MUñOZ
Marcos Muñoz, 70, passed away to be with our Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2018.
Mr. Muñoz was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
Marcos was a great and loving father, grandfather, uncle, brother and genuine friend to many. For over 20 years, he worked for the Laredo Independent School District. He was known to be a very hard worker and very friendly. Marcos was also known for his passion of baseball and coached many in Nuevo Laredo, Tamps. and Laredo, Texas.
He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Thelma Muñoz.
Children, Jose I. (Paulina A.) Muñoz, Juan (Bianca) Muñoz and Thelma Y. Muñoz.
Grandchildren, Jose T. and Marcos A. Muñoz, Juan and Sofia A. Muñoz and Ashley N. Muñoz.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
