MARGARITA H. GARZA

Margarita H. Garza, 98, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Garza was born in San Diego, Texas and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fernando and Felipa Hernandez.

Spouse, Antonio Garza.

Nephews, Juan Gilberto Hernandez and Jose Alfredo Hernandez.

She is survived by her nephews, Maximo (Ying) Hernandez, Ernesto Hernandez, Jose Luis Hernandez, Rosa Maria Garcia, Raquel Hernandez, Maria Carmen (Rudy) Guerra and Aurora Woods.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Following the ordinance by the State of Texas, visitation will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.

It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 4 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 . Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
