Obituary

MARGARITA V. GONZALEZ
Margarita V. Gonzalez, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Gonzalez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
She is preceded in death by her father, Antonio "Tuta" Villarreal and her mother, Librada Navarro Villarreal.
She is survived by her loving husband, of 59 years of marriage, Hipolito Gonzalez Sr.
4 Sons, Hipolito Gonzalez Jr., Abelardo Gonzalez, Sergio Gonzalez and Alberto Gonzalez.
Grandchildren, Lila Gonzalez, Sergio Gonzalez Jr., Abelardo Gonzalez Jr., Rose Margaret Gonzalez, Desiree Gonzalez, Marco Antonio Gonzalez and Celeste Gonzalez.
Grandson, whom she raised as her son, Idalberto Gonzalez.
Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
