MARGARITA LINAN Margarita Linan, 67, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015 at local hospital. Mrs. Linan was born in Hillhouse, Mississippi and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas She is preceded in death by her brothers, Tomas Medina, Alejandro Medina and Pedro Salvador Medina. Sister, Nancy Salazar. Parents, Tomas and Virginia Medina. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years of marriage Juan R. Linan Sons and daughters, Pedro Linan, Sylvia Linan, Gloria Linan, Juan R. (Ashley) Linan Jr. and Jessica M. Linan. 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Brothers and sisters, Jose A. Medina, Ruben Roberto Medina, Victoria Garcia and Deana Ortiz. Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapel, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Divine Mercy Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.
