MARGARITA SANTELLANES

Margarita Santellanes, 75, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at a local hospital.

Mrs. Santellanes was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Casimiro and Maria Elena Romero.

Son, Rafael Santellanes.

Brothers, Innocensio Romero, Casimiro Romero Jr., Juan Romero, Victor Romero and Martin Romero.

Sister, Sylvia Romero.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary (James) Vargas.

Grandchildren, Alyssa (Dionte) Rodgers, Menivy Santellanes,Genesis Mendez and Daisy Campbell.

Great-grandchildren, Nova, Armani and Rowan.

Brothers, Felipe (Alicia) Romero, Ricardo (Marcelina) Romero, Leonardo Romero, Alfredo (Yolanda) Romero, Nino Romero and Serafin Romero.

Sisters, Lucila Diaz, Amalia Romero and Rosario Romero.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Religious Service will be officiated a t 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held on a later date.
