MARGARITA H. TENIENTE

Margarita H. Teniente, 78, passed away on Sunday September 14, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Teniente is preceded in death by her loving husband Enrique Teniente who passed away on May 5, 2005, by her parents Emiliano Herrera and Dora Alvarado de Herrera and by her brothers, Gilberto Herrera, Amalia Martinez De Herrera, Salvador Alvarado,  Nelda Gutierrez De Alvarado +.

She is survived by her children, Ana Maria Teniente, Magdalena Tyagi, Berta Teniente, Veronica Gonzalez De Teniente, Enrique Teniente Jr., and Maria Christina Garcia.

Her Grandchildren, Eliana Teniente, Arlene Teniente, Jaime (Raquel) Teniente, Anselmo Garza III, Alberto Garza, Ronnica (Richard) Gutierrez De Gonzalez, Orlando (Kimberly) Gutierrez, Erik Tyagi and Colby Martinez.

Great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Tyagi, R.J. Gonzalez, Ray Gonzalez, Axel Tyagi and Gianna Gutierrez.

Sister, Rosa Herrera.

Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., a Vigil of the Deceased will be officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon  at 6:00 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Funeral Services will begin on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.  with a Liturgy of the Word celebrated by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon in the funeral home chapel. Committal Services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS: Anselmo Garza, Albert Garza, Jaime Teniente, Orlando Gutierrez, Erik Tyagi, Colby Martinez, Gilberto Herrera and Eric Teniente.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Richard Gonzalez, Ernesto Herrera and MAnuel Herrera.
