Obituary

MARGARITO "MAGO" ELIZONDO JR.
August 31, 1945 – September 13, 2017
Margarito "Mago" Elizondo Jr., 72, departed his life on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at a local hospital.
Mr. Elizondo was born in Laredo, Texas, to Mr. and Mrs. Margarito and Aurora Elizondo Sr., and had been a lifelong resident.
He was a proud graduate of Martin High School, Class of 1963,  "Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger!".
Mr. Elizondo worked as a Customer Service Representative, at Union Pacific Railroad for 34 years, and retired as such.
He was a very hilarious man who always enjoyed a good laugh and spending time with his family.
He will be dearly missed by all those whose lives he touched.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Margarito Elizondo Sr. and Aurora G. Elizondo.
Sister, Estela Cobos.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 34 years of marriage, Lourdes Elizondo.
Children, Gabriel Elizondo, Ana Laura Elizondo, Veronica Alicia Elizondo, Jorge "Pollo" Elizondo, Veneza Elizondo Bremner (Rich), Margarito Elizondo III (Jenny) , Guillermo David Elizondo (Adriana) and Jorge Trujillo.
Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Brother, Roberto Elizondo.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
