MARIA A. SANCHEZ

Maria A. Sanchez, 89, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

Mrs. Sanchez was born in Los Colorados, Vallecillo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Guadalupe Sanchez.
Siblings, Baldemar Garcia, Arnoldo Garcia, Baldomero Garcia, Mayra Villarreal and Ludivina Botello.

She is survived by her children, Ruben (Lety) Sanchez, David (Adela) Sanchez, Guadalupe Sanchez Jr. and Maribel (Carlos) Garza.
Grandchildren, Elizabeth (Efrain Rodriguez) Garza, Melissa (Danny) Garza, Lillyann (Tyler) Aflac, Linette (Roel) Ramirez, Elisa Sanchez,
Guadalupe  Sanchez III, David Sanchez, Steven Sanchez, Roman Sanchez, Ruben Sanchez Jr., Danny Sanchez and Rurick (Lilly) Hernandez.
Great grandchildren, Melanie Serna, Misael Serna, Mateo Serna, Julian Sanchez, Nicole Hernandez, Steven Sanchez Jr., Leylani Sanchez, Selena Sanchez, Damian Sanchez, David Sanchez Jr. and Arianna Sanchez.
Sister, Lidia Cardenas.
Also surviving her are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . A chapel services , officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon was held at the funeral home chapel before committal services and interment which followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Carlos Garza, Efrain Rodriguez, Ruben Sanchez Jr., Danny Carbajal, Ruben Sanchez and Jose Gaytan.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Misael Serna, Mateo Serna and Guadalupe Sanchez Jr.
