MARIA SALOME ALEJANDRO Maria Salome Alejandro, 95, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2014 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Alejandro was born in Villaldama, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her spouse, Medardo Alejandro. Sister, Aurelia Flores. Brothers, Jose Guadalupe Gonzalez and Francisco Gonzalez. She is survived by her children, Felipe E. (Leticia) Alejandro, Jose G. (Isabella) Alejandro, Jose L. (Dolores) Alejandro, Juan M. (Dorothy dec'd) Alejandro, Rosa E. (David, dec'd) Berger, Medardo (Kaye dec'd) Alejandro, Hilda B. (Raul) Reyes, Graciela A. (Leonardo dec'd) Ramirez, Elva A. Camero and Jesus A. Alejandro. 35 Grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at San Agustin Cathedral. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
