MARIA ALICIA MARTINEZ

Maria Alicia Martinez, 73, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026.

Mrs. Martinez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her 1st husband, Jesus Martinez.
2nd husband, Magdaleno "Maleno" Carrizales.
Siblings, Ernesto De Alba, Esperanza De Alba and Jose De Alba.

She is survived by her children, Virginia (Jose Benavides) Martinez, Adrian Martinez, Jesus G. (Patricia) Martinez, Beatriz Martinez and Juan Enrique Martinez.
Grandchildren, Hannah Azalia (Ricardo) Arciga, Herman Anthony Arciga, Owynn Dustyn Benavides, Adrian Martinez Jr., Brianna Anastacia Martinez, Ivanna Nicole Pardo, Jesse Martinez, Gerardo Martinez, Johnny Martinez, Delialah J. (Andrew) Chaplin, Xavier Gonzalez, Jeanette Gonzalez, Juan E. Martinez Jr., Roque Martinez and Diego Martinez.
Great grandchildren, Xiolana Nevaeh Angeles and Aidan Alexander Adams.
Siblings, San Juana Flores, Margarita Ramirez, Hector De Alba, Fernando De Alba and Antonio Ramirez.

Also surviving her are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston st. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home on Thursday, October 1, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church. Committal servicves and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
