Maria Q. Blanquez, 85, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Blanquez was a longlife resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Refugio and Micaela Quiroz.
Spouse, Jose Cruz Blanquez.
Brothers, Pedro Quiroz and Jesus Quiroz.
Sister, Rafaela Q. Lara.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 departing from the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St at San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Jose C. Blanquez III, Raul Alvarado Jr., Jesus Blanquez Jr., David A. Romo, Jacob T. Romo and Jesus M. Quiroz.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Heberto Romo, Juan Rodriguez and Eduardo Villarreal.
