MARIA D. CABRERA

Maria D. Cabrera, 79, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Mrs. Cabrera was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Magdaleno and Juanita Palacios.
Her beloved husband, Marcelino Cabrera.
Siblings, Juan (Johnny) Palacios
Esperanza Rosa Rios.
She is survived by her children, Maria De Jesus (Adolfo) Buentello, Marcelino (Andria) Cabrera III, Mark Anthony Cabrera, Miguel Angel (Helen) Cabrera.
Grandchildren, Luna Buentello, Dahlia Buentello, Reynaldo J(Jessica) Cabrera, Oscar Alejandro Cabrera, Marlene Cabrera, Kia Gonzalez, Mark Anthony Cabrera III, Mariana Cabrera, Liliana (Gilbert)  Garza, Aryana Cabrera, C. J. Cabrera, Miguel Angel Cabrera II, Jordan (Narce) Garza, Alfredo (Juan) Garza and Summer (Jared) Ruiz.
Great-grandchildren, Alexis Padron, Mia Ojeda, Anna Elizabeth Cabrera and Rayanaldo Cabrera.
Siblings, Magdaleno (Rosa) Palacios, San Juana (Roberto) Cabrera, Maria Irma (Aguinaldo) Garza, Jose Angel (Rosa Elia) Palacios, Raquel (Martin+) Serna, Freddie (Maria de Rosario) Palacios and Anita (Homero) Garza.
Brother-in-law, Gerardo Rios.
Also surviving her are numerous brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased, officiated by Rev. Deacon Roger Martinez, will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Adolfo Buentello III, Reynaldo Cabrera, Alex Cabrera, Juan Jesus Cabrera, Aguinaldo "Gino" Garza and Jesse A. Garza.
