MARIA I. CALDERON

Maria I. Calderon, 87, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 in Laredo, Texas

Mrs. Calderon was born in Zacates, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Maria Arellano.
Beloved husband, Ambrosio Calderon.
Brother, Anastacio Arellano.

She is survived by her children, Roberto (Isabel) Calderon, Candelario Calderon, Graciela Gonzalez, Maria Christina Calderon, Guadalupe Calderon and Ambrosio Calderon Jr.
25 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 departing from the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Holy Mass was celebrated at Santa Rita De Casia Catholic Church. Committal services followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Ambrosio Calderon Jr./ Freddy Gonzalez, Roberto Calderon, Roberto Calderon Jr., Candelario Calderon, Jacob Calderon, Jonathan Gutierrez, Jose Luis Juarez Jr., Charlie Gonzalez Jr. and Richard Calderon.
