MARIA DEL CARMEN DIAZ
Maria del Carmen Diaz, 83, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022.
Ms. Diaz was born in Michoacán, Mexico and was a long life resident of San Antonio, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her children, Sara (Raul) Reyes, Miguel (Martha) Luna, Juan Larios and Blanca Felicitas (Robert) Owens.
11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Brothers, Rafael Diaz and Agustin (Amada) Diaz.
Sister, Margarita (Mario) Galindo.
Also surviving are other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Religious service will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Southside Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy
. A Liturgy of the Word, officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon, was held in the funeral home chapel. Committal services and interment followed at the Laredo City Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Miguel Luna, Rafael Diaz, Juan Larios, Christopher Ortiz, Jose Luna, Carlos Luna, Raul Reyes III and Agustin Reyes.
HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Agustin Diaz, Robert Owens, Dawn Potthast, Daniel Zapico, Mario Galindo, Miguel Luna Jr., Xavier Reyes, Robert Owens II, Malcolm D. Owens and Tamir Johnson.
