MARIA DEL CARMEN GALLEGOS
Maria del Carmen Gallegos, 86, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021.
Ms. Gallegos was born in Santiago Valladares, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She had been employed with Dr.George Garcia, as an Office Manager, for many years. Upon her later years, she was employed as a Home Health Provider, attending her numerous patients. She will be dearly missed and remembered by all those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Anastacio Casarez and Leonor Garza De Casarez.
Step Mother, Maria P. Salinas.
Sons, Mario Valentin Gallegos and Ramon Martin De Jesus Gallegos.
Brother, Juan Francisco Casarez.
Sister, Virginia Garza.
She is survived by her children, San Juana (Jesus) Cervantes, Ramon Guadalupe (Maria Esther) Gallegos, Luis (Emma Lucia) Gallegos, Juan Pedro (Gloria) Gallegos and Miguel Angel (Celinda) Gallegos.
Grandchildren, Liz Cervantes, Jesse Cervantes, Sandra Yvette Gonzalez, Ramon Gallegos Jr., Gerardo Gallegos, Brenda Lee Cabrera, Yvonne Martinez, Melissa Lopez, Iris Martinez, Vanessa Giddens, Nancy Gallegos, Amy Escamilla, Mari Carmen Rodriguez, Juan Pedro Gallegos Jr., George Gallegos, Monica Flores, Mario Gallegos, Emmanuel Gallegos, Josue Gallegos, Kimberly Jacaman, Kristi Gutierrez, Celinda Angelica Rodriguez and Miguel Angel Gallegos Jr.
48 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 departing from the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave
. A Chapel service was held at the funeral home before committal services and interment which followed at the Laredo City Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Ramon Gallegos Sr., Emmanuel Gallegos, Jesus Cervantes Jr., Jose Martinez (Yoyito), Juan Gallegos Jr., Gerardo Gallegos, Mario Gallegos Jr. and Miguel Gallegos Jr.
