MARIA D. CHAVARRIA

Maria D. Chavarria, 79, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025.

Mrs. Chavarria was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Agustin and Maria Guadalupe Cano.
Her beloved husband, Jesus Chavaria.
Sister, Maria Elisa Flores.
She is survived by her children, Maria Guadalupe (Francisco) Jimenez and Isabel Chavarria.
Grandchildren, Jesus, Edgar, Oscar, Yadhira and Iliana.
Sisters, Maria de los Santos (Alfredo†) Rivas, Rosa (Joel) Gutierrez and Amelia (Luis†) Mireles.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Funeral services will begin departing at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Francisco Jimenez, Jesus Jimenez, Edgar Camacho, Oscar Jimenez, Alfredo Rivas Jr., Jesus Flores, Mauricio Morales and Jorge Medellin.
