MARIA D. CHAVEZ
Maria D. Chavez, 72, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Chavez was born in Anahuac, N.L. and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leocadio and Bernadina Cardenas Alvarez.
Sister, Amelia Cano.
She is survived by her husband, of 10 years of marriage, Juan Chavez.
Children, Irma Patricia Martinez Chavez Rodriguez, Oscar Hector Chavez Rodriguez, Claudia Chavez Rodriguez, Mayda Chavez Rodriguez and Sandra Veronica Chavez Rodriguez.
Nieces and nephews, Gabriela Cano Luna (Julian Luna) and Adriana Cano.
Grand nephews and nieces, Christian Luna, Sebastian Luna, Nicholas Luna and Christopher Luna.
Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.
