MARIA ESTELA COBOS On March 31, 2014 Maria Estela Cobos was called home to the house of our lord. She will be met by her mother and father Mr. & Mrs. Margarito A. Elizondo, Sr. along with many family and friends. She left behind many touched hearts and loved ones. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who felt her primary role on earth was to look after others. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched. She is survived by her children, Georgina M. Cobos, Isela F. Cobos (Gordon Jarrell, Jr.), and Mr. & Mrs. George M. Cobos Jr. (Katherine "Kat"), Ex-spouse George M. Cobos, Grandchildren, Ariana V. Moreno and Michael J. Cobos. Brothers, Mr. & Mrs. Margarito Elizondo Jr. (Lourdes), Mr. & Mrs. Roberto Elizondo (Claudia) and sister, Gloria Nieto Elizondo. Nieces and Nephews: Veronica (Ronnie) Elizondo, Jorge Ricardo "Ricky" (Pollo) Elizondo, Veneza E. Bremner, Margarito (Bevo) Elizondo, III., Guillermo (Willie) Elizondo, Gabriel Elizondo, Juan (Juanito) Paz, Maria Luisa (Chachis) Paz, and Gerardo (Jerry) Paz. Other family members: Mr. & Mrs. Juan Paz (Francesca "Peewee") and Mr. & Mrs. Blas Cobos (Sandra). Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
