MARIA D. GUTIERREZ

Maria D. Gutierrez, 83, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022.

Mrs. Gutierrez was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Gutierrez was an active member of the LMC Senior Circle and the Senior Salud at Doctors Hospital, for many years. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.

She is preceded in death by her husband, of 62 years of marriage, Daniel Gutierrez Jr.

Sisters, Tomasita Gonzalez, San Juana Diaz and Josefina Blanco.

Brothers, Ramon Diaz, Francisco Diaz and Jesus Diaz.

Great grandchildren, Francisco Daniel Gutierrez and Nathan Gutierrez.

She is survived by her children, Daniel (Dalia) Gutierrez III, Ramon Ernesto (Alamar) Gutierrez, Cindy Gutierrez (Fiance, Jeff Henderson).

Grandchildren, Darlene (Edgar) Gutierrez -De Jesus, Daniel (Stephanie) Gutierrez IV, Ernesto Israel Gutierrez, Anais Lamar (Alfie Joseph) Rodman and 5 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving her are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
