MARIA GUADALUPE DAVILA Maria Guadalupe Davila, 45, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at a local hospital. Mrs. Davila was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Bridgette Davila. She is survived by her parents, Luis and Teresa Davila. Brothers and sisters, Andrea (Mario) Gonzalez, Luis Davila III., Jacinto (Elizabeth) Davila and Rafael (Leslie) Davila. Sister-in-law, Anabelle Davila. Nephews and nieces, Yvonne (Ernesto) Samuels, Andrea Bravo, Mario Alberto Gonzalez, Genoveva Barraza, Teresa Barraza, Juana Davila, Cynthia (Juan) Duran, Luis Davila, IV., Yvette Guadalupe Perez, Rafael Davila Jr., Ashley Davila, Lizette Davila, Robert Davila and Kaitlin Ann Davila. Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
