MARIA DE LA LUZ MALACARA

Maria de la Luz Malacara, 86, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
Mrs. Malacara was born in Gregory, Texas and was a longlife resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eberardo and Consuelo Rodriguez.
Maternal grandmother, Maria Torivio.
She is survived by her loving husband, of 62 years of marriage, Jacinto Malacara Jr.
Daughters, Leticia (Martin) Zavala, Maria Azucena (Antonio) Tamez IV, Marisela Malacara, Melissa Esmeralda Valdez (Fidel Flores) and Griselda (Roman) Martinez III.
18 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Brother, Jose Oliveros (Esperanza) Mireles.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Antonio Tamez V, Andres Tamez, David Valdez Jr., Jesus Valdez, Gena Martinez, Everardo Malacara, Joel Zavala and Martini Zavala.
HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Antonio Tamez IV, Martin Zavala, Roman Martinez III, Fidel Flores and Griselda Martinez.
