Maria Dolores Lopez

Maria Dolores Lopez, 82, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026.

Mrs. Lopez was born in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Claudio and Pilar Vasquez.
Brothers, Guillermo Vasquez, Pedro Vasquez and Eduardo Vasquez.

She is survived by her loving husband, Eduardo Lopez.
Daughter, Gloria (Jose Luis) Villagran.
Grandchildren, Jose Luis Villagran Jr. and Marcos Aquiles Villagran.
Siblings, Jorge (Dora) Vasquez, Maria De Los Angeles (Erasmo) Estevanne, Delia (Heriberto) Rodriguez, Rafael Vasquez, Rosalinda (Oscar) Palacios, Alicia Flores (Ruben Lazo) and Laura (Jose Juan) Duarte.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

The Family would like to extend a special Thank You to her neighbor and caregiver, Ernestina Villarreal and Beatriz Medina and La Frontera Nursing Home and staff also to Dr. Carlos Llanes.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will lbe held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Jose Luis Villagran Jr., Rafael Vasquez Jr., Rogelio Vasquez, Oscar Palacios, Emiliano Vasquez, Raul Vasquez, Andres Flores and Erasmo Estevane III.
