MARIA ESPERANZA ESCOBEDO
Maria Esperanza Escobedo, 84, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Escobedo was born in Coahuila, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her Brothers, Roberto Bretado, Oscar Bretado and Miguel Bretado.
She is survived by her children, Olga (Jose Angel) Lara, Esperanza (Ramon) Rodriguez, Alicia (Fidel) Villuendas, Maria Esther (Julio) Reyes, Mario (Antonia) Escobedo, Jesus (Maria) Escobedo, Maria (Leonardo) Galvan, Blanca (Gelacio) De Santiago and Luis Escobedo.
Parents-in law, Gabriel Escobedo and Maria De La Luz M. Escobedo.
Sisters-in-law, Felipa Escobedo and Antonia Escobedo Murillo.
Brother-in law, Juan Escobedo Murillo
Brother,Hector Bretado.
Sister, Esther Bretado.
Also surviving her are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel.
Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at San Agustin Cathedral Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
