MARIA ESPERANZA ESCOBEDO

Maria Esperanza Escobedo, 79, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Escobedo was born in Monterrey, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hipolito and Jacinta Escobedo.
Sisters, Gloria Parga, Elena Escobedo, Irma Escobedo, Teresa Escobedo, Socorro Velasquez and Rosa Maria Escobedo.

She is survived by her children, Jesus Guadalupe Ortiz and Gabriela Irma (Daniel) Young.
Grandchildren, Marco E. Villarreal, Valerie G. Villarreal, Jesse Ortiz Jr., Samuel Eli Ortiz, Emma Hope Young and  Mya Rose Young.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, August, 17, 2024 departing from the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Jesus Ortiz, Jesus Ortiz Jr., Samuel Eli Ortiz, Marco E. Villarreal Jr., Valerie G. Villarreal, Daniella Ayala, Fidel Ayala Jr. and Daniel Young.
