MARIA SALOME FRIAS SIFUENTES Maria Salome Frias Sifuentes, 89, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at a local hospital. Mrs. Sifuentes was born in Austin, Texas and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hilario and Maria Cruz Frias. Son, Elias Antonio Turgeon. Siblings, Candelario Frias, Carlos Frias, Margarita Frias, Elias Frias, Jesus Ibarra and Emilio Ibarra. Sons in law, Felipe Morales, Enrique Zavala and Jose Yan. Daughter in law, Juana Turgeon. Grandson, Roberto Turgeon. She is survived by her loving husband, Juan Sifuentes. Children, Virginia Vda. de Morales, William (Guadalupe) Turgeon, San Juanita Sifuentes and Elizabeth Sifuentes. 20 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Also surviving her are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
