Maria Antonia Galvan Gonzalez, 85, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

Mrs. Gonzalez was born in Comales, Tamaulipas, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas afer living in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico for part of her life. She will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cesar A. Castillo.

Parents, Rodolfo Galvan and Carolina Gonzalez de Galvan.

Son, Cesar A. Castillo Jr.

Brothers, Rodolfo Galvan and Fernando Galvan.

She is survived by her daughters, Nidia Castillo Quintero (Carlos), Veronica Castillo and Maritza Castillo..

Son, Francisco Raul (Margarita) Castillo.

Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sister, Araceli Carrillo.

Brother, Raul Galvan Gonzalez.

Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Funeral services are under the direction of Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
