Maria is known as Mary, passed away May 16 th , 2024, and has joined her loving husband, Harold Frederick Meier.

She was surrounded by her loving daughter, Rosa Meier Guzman and husband, Jose G. Guzman.

She had four brothers: David Garcia, Ramon Garcia, Jesus Garcia, and Enrique Guerra, all deceased.
She is preceded by her parents: Enrique and Esperanza Garcia and Jesus Munoz Jr, oldest grandson.
Mary enjoyed going to the maquinitas and eating out with family members. One of her closest friend and
relative was Senaida Garcia who provided support and unconditional love as a long life friend. She was
a caregiver for her grandchildren and cherished friend. She enjoyed cooking and always made food for family and friends.

She loved to listen to Spanish and country music. Two of her favorite singers were Joan Sebastian and Johnny Cash.
She is survived by her four daughters: Rosa Meier Guzman and Jose, Minerva Saiz and Jaime, Leticia Meier Gonzalez and Javier, and Jessica Meier and Belen.
In addition, she is survived by numerous grandchildren, cousins, and friends.

She will greatly be missed and will always be remembered.

Funeral services were held on Monday, May 27, 2024 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Jose J. Saiz Jr., Isaiah N. Saiz, Bobbie Bonds, Mark Rivera, Joe Guzman, Jamie Saiz, Steven Chapa, Daniel Mehazlett and Joe Guzman.
