Maria Isaura Gutierrez
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Maria Isaura Gutierrez, who left us peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at the age of 92.
Mrs. Gutierrez was born on April 14,1933 in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Gutierrez was a beautiful, caring, loving wife and mother. A dedicated housewife who loved cooking, knitting, quilting, sewing, gardening and birds. Most of all, she was a kind soul who led a simple and humble life which she instilled with love in her children.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, of 51 years of marriage, Jesus O. Gutierrez, who passed away on December 12, 2005 and by some of her siblings.
She is survived by her sister, Graciela Garibay; brother-in-law, Nicolas Gutierrez; and sister-in-law, Maria Del Rosario Gutierrez.
Sons and Daughters, Jesus O. (Nora) Gutierrez Jr, Arturo (Mitchelliz) Gutierrez, Susana Recio, Veronica Gutierrez, Martin (Kimhara) Gutierrez, and Heriberto Gutierrez.
Grandchildren: David, Jessica (Curtiss), Andrea (Jesse), Alexa (John), Ana Teresa, Daniel, Candelario (Cassandra), Dionicio, Roland, and Robert.
Great grandchildren: Jackson, Abigail, Destiny, Emily, Brandon, and Khloe.
Nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Also surviving are other relatives and many friends.
The Family Gutierrez would like to extend a special Thank You to all her family, many friends, dedicated caregivers and doctors.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
