MARIA E. MATA-HOLLAND
Maria E. Mata-Holland, 86, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Laredo, Texas
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Tomasita Mata.
Brothers, Roman Mata Sr., Miguel Mata and Jesus Mata Jr.
Sister, Armandina Mata.
Nephew, Roman Mata Jr.
She is survived by her nieces, Terry Rios (Oscar), Gloria Mata, Rosa Duron (Ernesto), Maria Mendieta (+Amador), all from Kingsville, Texas.
Nephews, Luis O. Mata (Susie), from Laredo, Texas and David Mata Sr., from Kingsville, Texas.
Numerous Grand nieces and grand nephews.
Also surviving her are other relatives and her longtime friends, Ramona Cortez and Rosario Contreras.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
