MARIA DE JESUS DURAN
Maria De Jesus Duran, 81, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Duran was born in Ramos Arispe, Coahuila, Mexico and was a long-life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her Son, David Duran.
Parents, Salomon and Carmen Acosta.
She is survived by her loving husband, of 56 years and 11 months of marriage, Delfino Duran.
Children, Diana Duran, Duvina Duran and Daryle Duran.
Grandchildren, David Duran Jr., Derek Duran, Devin Duran, Melissa D. Luna, Anthony A. Gonzalez and Stephanie Hardin.
Great grandchildren, Alana Gonzalez, Ace Gonzalez and Elijah Gonzalez, Alyssa Luna, Dominic Luna, Isaac Luna, Brianna Luna and Fernando A. Luna.
Sisters, Esperanza Acosta and Graciela "Chela" Acosta.
Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.
In compliance with City Orders by the Mayor of the City of Laredo, a private Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 6 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Son, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated st 10 a.m. at San Agustin Cathedral Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
