MARIA DE JESUS PERALES Maria De Jesus Perales, 93, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at a local hospital. Mrs. Perales was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Jose Alvaro Perales. Son, Tomas Perales Maldonado. Parents, Felipe and Evelarda Maldonado. She is survived by her daughters, Ofelia Gonzalez Perales and Lucia Hernandez Perales. 24 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren. Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
