MARIA DE JESUS RAMOS Maria De Jesus Ramos, 71, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at a local retirement home. She was born in Melchor Ocampo, Nuevo Leon Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for sometime. She is preceded in death by her parents, Diego Ramos and Andrea Lopez Ramos. Sisters, Teresa Ramos de Benavides, Filomena Ramos de Salinas, Matilde Ramos de Ramos and Glafira Ramos de Delgado. She is survived by her husband, Argemiro B. Ramos. Children, Argemiro (Socorro) Ramos, Mirna (Manuel) Salinas, Jesus Eduardo (Rosa) Ramos and Mirta (Abelardo) Lopez. 10 grandchildren. Brother, Guadalupe Ramos. Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. A chapel service will begin at 11 a.m. officiated by Elder Ernesto Leal in the funeral home chapel. Committal services and interment will immediately follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
