MARIA LOUISA RAMIREZ
Maria Louisa Ramirez, 79, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016, in San Antonio, Texas.
Mrs. Ramirez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
She was a graduate of Martin High School, Class of 1956 and a dedicated parishioner, of San Luis Rey Catholic Church, where she participated in numerous events sponsored by the church.
She worked at American Finance, for over 27 years, at Economy Finance, for another 24 years, and later became Partner, for Key Finance and Investment, for ten years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, of 22 years of marriage, Alvaro Ramirez Sr.
Daughter-in-law, Angelica Maria Ramirez.
Parents, Manuel Garcia and Herlinda L. Garcia.
Brothers, Raymundo Garcia and Vicente Garcia.
She is survived by her son, Alvaro (Rosaura) Ramirez Jr.
Grandchildren, Arlene (Steven) Womble, Alvaro (Natasha) Ramirez III and Andrew Ramirez.
Great-grandchildren, MyKel Womble, Peyton Ramirez and MaKayla Womble.
Sister, Josefa G. Sanchez.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 8:05 a.m., on Friday, December 9, 2016, departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
