MARIA DE LA LUZ GARCIA

Maria De La Luz Garcia, 70, passed away on January 1, 2025.

Ms. Garcia was born in Lampazos, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rafael and Librada Garcia.

She is survived by her siblings, Concepcion (Sergio) De Leon, Juana Chavarria, Hortencia (Julian) Molina, Rosa A. Garza and Rafael (Genoveva) Garcia.

Also surviving her are many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, January 6, 2025 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . A Liturgy of the Word, officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon, was held in the funeral home chapel before  committal services and interment which followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Rafael Garcia Jr., Mario Alberto Chavarria, David Chavarria, Edgar Chavarria, Edward Garza, Efrain Aranda, David de la O. and Matthew Altman.
