MARIA DE LOS ANGELES AVALOS Maria De Los Angeles Avalos, 74, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 at a local hospital. Mrs. Avalos was born in Rosita, Coahuila Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for sometime. She is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving husband, Roberto Avalos. Daughter and Sons, Gloria J. (Edmundo) Avila, Roberto (Catalina) Avalos Jr. and Ricardo (Tina) Avalos. 5 grandchildren, Ricardo Avalos Jr., Jessica Marie Avalos, Aaron Anthony Avila, Ileen Michelle Avalos and Joshua Avalos. Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.
