Maria De
Los Angeles Zamarripa
August 28, 2025
MARIA DE LOS ANGELES ZAMARRIPA
Born May 31, 1941, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, later becoming a US Citizen and resided in Laredo, Texas. Actively involved in the community, one of the friendliest individuals you could ever meet.
Loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, cousin, niece and friend. Ended her 84 year long journey on earth on August 28th 2025, surrounded by her children, grand kids, sons and daughters in-law. A devoted catholic she started a new journey to meet our Lord Jesus Christ and to be with our departed family.
Maria was the anchor of her Family. She loved traveling and being visited by her children, grand kids and friends. She was always ready to help anyone without hesitation. She had a contagious smile, loved flowers, playing bingo and loteria. She loved taking pictures and show off her new outfits. She had that smile that just brightened your day, and easily made friends everywhere she went. She was an excellent listener and as all mothers and grandmothers offered the best advice. She was also a great storyteller, sharing her memories as a child, meeting her husband, raising her children and proudly talking about each of htem. She had amazing friends and loved spending time with them.
Maria will be missed; but she left us with plenty of beautiful memories. She was very photogenic; we have lots of photos with all the family members. She was an amazing cook, and she passed down all her cooking serets. She loved animals and her little chihuahua Daisy misses her too.
Now Maria is in heaven, celebrating everlasting life with our family members who have departed. We were blessed to have shared her for 84 years, she lives in our hearts, and in our thoughts forever.
