MARIA LUISA PENA Maria Luisa Pena, 83, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at a local hospital. Mrs. Pena was born in Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose M. Pena. Son, Juan Jose (Diana) Pena. Sister, Hortencia De Leon. Brother, Mario De Leon. She is survived by her loving children, Mrs. Guadalupe Garcia, Jose Luis (Rosa) Pena, Leticia Pena, Roberto (Donna) Pena, Mario Pena, Ana Luisa (Ricardo) Pena and Rogelio (Norma) Pena. Brothers and Sisters, Paulita De Leon, Jose Luis De Leon and Margarita Rocha. Also surviving her are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Nuestra Senora Del Rosario Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
