MARIA LYDIA GARZA

Maria Lydia Garza, 85, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Garza was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Elvira Gonzalez.
Spouse, Emilio Garza Jr.
Brother, Jose (Dorothy Clark) Gonzalez.
Daughter-in-law, Diana Garza.
She is survived by her children, Javier Garza, Anna Garza (Willie G.), Ricardo (Amparo) Garza, Norma Elizabeth Garza and Jesus Alejandro (Rosalinda) Garza.
7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Siblings, Gilberto (Mary) Gonzalez, Antonio (Graciela) Gonzalez, Candelario (Margarita) Gonzalez, Ernestina (Pedro) Treviño, San Juanita (Rudy) Guajardo, Elvira Gonzalez, Adela (Rogelio) Garay, Graciela (Oscar) Chavez, Rosa Alicia Gonzalez and Diana Gonzalez.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Friday, June 24, 2022 departing from the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at St. Jude Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Javier Garza, Ricardo Garza Jr., Tony Garza, Miguel Garza, Chris Olivares and Ricardo Daniel Garza.
HONORARY PALLBEARERS WERE: Klayton Ramos, TJ Garza and Santiago Jacquez.
