MARIA ELENA MUNIZ
Maria Elena Muniz, 64, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019, in San Antonio, Texas.
Mrs. Muniz was born in North Dakota and was a long-life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jose and Carmen S. Rodriguez.
Sisters, Consuelo Salinas, Catalina Gonzalez and Juana Dominguez.
Brothers, Jose Antonio Rodriguez, Ignacio Rodriguez and Josefina Puente.
She is survived by her loving husband, of 49 years of marriage, Francisco Muniz.
Children, Francisco Muniz Jr. (Veronica), Sylvia Cortez (Carlos), Jaime Muniz (Sylvia), Leticia Wells (Melvin), Elizabeth Muniz, Cynthia Bley (Tom), Maria Elena Trammell (Jeremy) and Carlos Muniz ( Amanda).
Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2020 and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 3, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated at Santo Nino Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
