MARIA OLGA FLORES

Maria Olga Flores, 87, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025.

Mrs. Flores was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident. She had a passion for baking, cooking and reading. She was known by those who knew her, as the "Smartest in her Class". She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Andrea Palacios.
Her beloved husband, Oscar Flores Sr.
Brothers, Simon Palacios, Felix Palacios and Felipe Palacios.
Sister, Isabel Palacios Cardenas.
She is survived by her children, Oscar (Encarnacion†) Flores Jr., Juan Javier (Velia) Flores and Maria Nidia (Jose Luis) Castro.
Grandchildren, Olga Ernestina (Jesse) Worcester and Melissa Christina Castro.
2 great grandchildren.
Brothers, Rodolfo (Faith) Palacios, Jesus (Gina) Palacios and Raul (Sylvia) Palacios.
Sisters, Melida (Guillermo+) Lopez and Margarita (Hector+) Vela.
Also surviving her are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 30, 2025 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Laredo City Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Jose Luis Castro, Melissa C. Castro, Narciso Castro, Joanne Castro, Jesse Worcester and Juan Flores.
